"KOSUKE MATSUI / OVERDESIGN Designer"

Mr. Kosuke Matsui, in addition to being a brand designer who has earnestly engaged with denim for a long time, repeatedly breaking, repairing, and decorating it by hand, creating and reviving countless denim garments, also possesses the qualities of a craftsman. He continues to pursue beautiful designs amidst destruction and reconstruction.

"BACKLASH THE DENIM"

A new collection line exclusively dedicated to denim (jeans) that will be regularly developed. It re-focuses on "denim," which holds a universal position in the men's fashion scene, proposing denim products that do not fade and increase in charm over time.

This is a collaboration item based on denim wear produced by BACKLASH, featuring handmade processing by Mr. Kosuke Matsui.

The base material used is "HIROSHIMA Selvedge Denim" with a stretch blend, woven with No. 7 black warp threads and No. 8 special white weft threads, varying the thickness of the warp and weft. By using special white weft threads, the denim fabric creates a very rich and profound look even with just a simple one-wash. For the dark black processing, partial shaving is performed, and after shaping with a press, the entire surface is abraded again. After that, through processes of three-dimensional processing, stone wash, and overdye, it is finished with fine shading applied by spraying. The text on the pocket bag, "REACH FOR THE MOON EVEN IF WE CANT.", is a rock word that continues to inspire designer ISAMU KATAYAMA.

A regular straight silhouette designed for a moderate tightness. It is designed to be moderately tight yet allow for ease of movement within its refined silhouette. It features a front button fly, and all buttons are original brand tack buttons. A back pocket flasher with a laser engraving on GUIDI leather is attached.
