These items use leather made from 0.8mm thick pigskin, dyed with a traditional Japanese dyeing technique, specifically the post-dyeing method used for kimonos in Tokamachi, Niigata Prefecture, applied to leather, and then printed with a camouflage pattern. The technique of dyeing and drying each layer repeatedly to create overlapping patterns is a testament to the artisan's skill. Although the material is leather, the print is so precise and clean that it could easily be mistaken for fabric. The camouflage pattern is created by carefully printing multiple layers. The soft texture of the pigskin is supple, very comfortable against the skin, and highly breathable. Despite its soft feel, it is also exceptionally durable. These camouflage pattern pants allow you to enjoy the unique aging that comes with repeated wear, which is characteristic of leather, creating an atmosphere that fabric products cannot replicate.
Based on a wide silhouette used for full-length pants that are naturally easy to wear with a relaxed fit yet moderately suppressed volume, these have been adjusted to a half-length design of approximately 6/10ths length. These are 6-pocket leather shorts with casual flap cargo pockets to match the camouflage printed leather material. In addition to an elastic waistband built into the back, they feature a drawcord and belt loops. Although these shorts primarily use leather as the main material, they are extremely rough-wearable leather shorts with their light, soft touch and comfortable feel being their greatest charm. They feature a front zipper fly and snap fasteners on the flap pockets.
