We use 0.8mm thick calf leather, made exclusively in Japan and finished by one of the country's leading tanneries. The supple, elastic texture molds easily to the body, offering a comfortable, relatively soft feel that adheres to the skin. Despite the calf's inherent flexibility, it develops unique, deep, three-dimensional wrinkles that ripple like large waves. This product uses a manufacturing technique that typically involves product dyeing and shrinkage finishing, but here, the dyeing process is omitted, and the leather is shrunk solely through washing. While retaining the brand's iconic presence, characterized by the undulating, shrunken texture achieved by tumbling after product assembly, this approach eliminates color unevenness (known as "chuki") and allows for better control over the shrinkage rate, resulting in a highly stable sizing. The basic single rider's jacket is constructed in a solid manner using the brand's original pattern. The lining is made of luxurious rayon fabric, allowing for exceptionally smooth sleeve insertion. For the zippers, we use YKK's high-grade EXCELLA, chosen for its understated and appropriately lightweight impression, pursuing a standard of quality. Since all elements are meticulously polished, the zippers open and close smoothly.
