Its coolness and supple feel make it comfortable for summer riding or as a light outer layer, feeling like fabric rather than leather despite its appearance.
While most of the body and arms are made of perforated deerskin, the combination of non-perforated deerskin for the yoke, placket, collar, cuffs, and chest pockets creates a sophisticated design that avoids a monochromatic look.
