This product is made from 0.8mm thick Hokkaido calf leather, exclusively sourced and finished by one of Japan's leading tanneries. The leather is first tanned to a pale milky white (light beige) color during a process known as white tanning, and then dyed after the product has been manufactured. The leather, which is painstakingly tanned to a white base, allows for the creation of very vibrant, pale colors through product dyeing. Compared to conventional undyed tanned leather that is then product-dyed, this calf leather, which undergoes product dyeing and shrinkage processing, results in a leather jacket with exceptional softness and flexibility. Furthermore, the texture, which initially has a relatively subdued grain and sheen, will age into a calm, matte finish. The soft, supple texture feels like a second skin, providing an incredibly comfortable fit. The soft and lightweight feel of the leather allows for a very relaxed wear, even in a tight fit. In a loose fit, despite being a shrink-processed leather, its suppleness creates a beautiful drape and flow, forming a natural, flowing silhouette.
