Based on 0.8mm thick Hokkaido calf leather, a purely domestic product finished by one of Japan's leading tanners, the leather is tanned to a pale milky white (light beige) during the tanning process known as "white tanning," and then dyed in the finished product state. The leather, which has been meticulously tanned once to a white color, enables the expression of very good, pale colors even in product dyeing. Furthermore, compared to conventional vegetable-tanned leather that is product-dyed from its raw state, this calf leather, even after product dyeing and shrinkage processing for a leather jacket, achieves an exceptionally soft and flexible texture. Additionally, the grain and luster are relatively subdued, and it ages to a calm appearance. It offers a pleasant texture that feels like it adheres to soft skin, providing an exceptionally comfortable fit.
Using the aforementioned white-tanned base, and after completing all sewing processes except for the attachment of the snap buttons, the product is dyed with "logwood." It is dyed with a unique dye that produces a deep brown color by mordanting with iron for a dark burnt brown, or by layering with other yellow dyes. The dyeing and drying process is repeated until the dye is fixed, requiring a long time and effort to create, resulting in a unique beautiful luster, a luxurious color, and a beautiful, uneven brown color. By performing advanced logwood dyeing in the product state, the garment expresses a well-balanced depth of color overall.
Based on a 3rd type trucker jacket, strongly prioritizing fashionability in addition to practicality, it is constructed with the brand's original silhouette. The 3rd type, constructed with an appropriately smart silhouette that takes advantage of the very soft leather's characteristics, allows for ample customization of the silhouette to suit the wearer's body type. This jacket maximizes the texture and characteristics of the adopted leather for a great fit, and with no lining, it can be easily worn lightly throughout all seasons. All buttons are original snap buttons engraved with the brand name. Color-matched threads are used to complement the logwood dye color.
