Lee's classic boa Storm Rider made from 14-wale mid-rib corduroy, which offers a charming warmth and crisp feel. The corduroy base is dyed beige, then garment-dyed and given a USED treatment, which gives the boa a textured feel and results in a color that perfectly matches leather. While emphasizing a vintage aesthetic, the lining features a highly insulated boa for functionality.
The above COMPILATIONS Series product has been custom-made by BACKLASH. The sleeves are removed, and the sleeves are reconstructed and attached using Santa Croce AUSONIA Conceria steer leather, which is moderately tougher than the original product. By attaching moderately sharp leather sleeves constructed with pattern modifications, the garment achieves a smart impression. In addition to zipper sleeves with gussets at the cuffs, inspired by rider's jackets, the addition of a waist-side buckle belt further enhances the custom-made design. Furthermore, after attaching the leather sleeves, the product is lightly washed and hand-wrinkled to create an uneven texture, resulting in a not-too-clean finish that matches the look of the Lee corduroy garment-dyed jacket. The washing process also allows the garment-dyed corduroy body to blend in well, resulting in a piece with an enhanced vintage taste.
The leather sleeves are quilted with padding, ensuring excellent insulation. In addition to American casual styles, the leather sleeves pair well with adult casual styles, making this a versatile piece that can be enjoyed with a wide range of bottoms, from denim and chinos to slacks, to create seasonal outfits.
