Crafted from 0.8–0.9mm thick Italian shoulder leather. This is the signature leather material that BACKLASH has used the longest out of the many base leathers for garment-dyed apparel, produced by a prestigious, long-established Italian tannery. The garment dyeing is applied to a base leather generously infused with oil. Starting with the thick, substantial, and rigid texture characteristic of mature cow shoulder leather, the garment-dyeing process adds uneven, rugged shading, resulting in a piece with a unique presence. The initial firm, stiff feel will gradually become supple and soft with repeated wear, developing a deeper, more flavorful luster over time.
