It is based on the MA-1 design and produced with the brand's original silhouette.
We use high-quality steer leather as the base, pursuing the extreme duality of lightness and durability, and skiving the leather to a thickness of 0.6mm. By using steer leather with appropriate thickness, we achieve a stitch-down jacket that excels in balancing "the substantial feel of a leather down jacket" while maintaining a comfortable wearing experience. It exudes a luxurious touch and a powerful aura.

We use high-quality domestic chrome-tanned, aniline-dyed steer leather, which is often used for luxury furniture. While it has the characteristic of being a large piece of leather, it is also a hide with very few scratches relative to the size of the panel, which has been inspected to high standards. This is a high-grade leather with a very smooth touch, pleasant flexibility, and a beautiful, prominent appearance. The coloring is a rich, lustrous "black." We utilize the soft and light texture of the leather to create the brand's quintessential hand-stitched down jacket, which can be worn very casually and with a relaxed feel. The diamond-shaped stitching created by spot-stitching is not a pattern created by general sewing; by using a stitching method that requires time and handwork for each stitch, damage to the leather is minimized, and down leakage from needle holes is almost completely prevented even after many years of wear, offering the advantage of long-lasting warmth. The filling uses the highest quality Polish white goose down. This product provides a comfortable fit and reliable warmth.
This production pursues the ultimate in down/outerwear, offering reliable cold protection and insulation. It holds the position of the brand's representative winter staple outerwear. The MA-1 type is designed with appropriate cold protection in mind, without being overly speculative for modern Japanese winter climates. The neckline and decorations are streamlined, making it lightweight yet boasting just the right amount of insulation, by no means low-spec. All ribbed parts of the collar, cuffs, and hem, where conventional knitting is used to prevent wind intrusion, are also made of leather, offering a sophisticated leather down jacket. For the zippers, we use YKK's high-grade EXCELLA, which is a standard choice that gives a moderately light and relaxed impression. Since all elements are carefully polished, smooth opening and closing of the zipper is possible. Inner pockets are also provided on both sides.
