The dye is applied at a lower concentration than the final color. The surface is then waxed and ironed, controlling the heat to create a darker burnished finish. The uneven, shading-inducing finish of the production dye is enhanced by the wax burnishing process, resulting in a more refined, natural vintage look. This piece exudes a unique presence, distinct from the Italian double shoulder garment-dyed series. The base coat is made from leather from the shoulder of an adult cow, giving it a thick, solid, and hard texture. The oily wax adds a supple, pull-up leather texture. While initially firm and firm, the leather softens and develops a lustrous appearance with repeated wear, deepening its refined character.
