Kangaroo Suede Leather + Nanga Select Premium Down x Kawada Feather Polish White Goose Down Hoodie Riders Jacket
This is a collaborative product created in partnership with NANGA, based on the design of the hoodie riders jacket developed by BACKLASH. It is a leather down jacket with an extremely soft and lightweight feel, designed to provide a gentle, embracing fit.
The 0.4mm thick kangaroo suede leather is made as thin as possible, maximizing the smooth and lightweight properties of kangaroo leather, offering exceptional softness and smoothness in addition to its lightness. After being dyed black, it is washed to achieve an even more familiar texture. Made by NANGA using BACKLASH's main material, this collaboration utilizes high-quality Polish white goose down refined and filled through washing by "Kawada Feather," a down manufacturer with specialized equipment and advanced technology, leveraging the rich environment of groundwater and a climate suitable for drying down. This ensures excellent insulation. To fully bring out the performance of the down, meticulous stitching techniques are employed, combining long-standing expertise with designs based on scientific research data from the lab. This garment offers exceptionally high insulation while being surprisingly lightweight for a leather product.
■Down Characteristics
Highest quality down using only Polish white goose down domestically washed. With 93-7% down and a fill power of 860FP, it offers high insulation.
■Nylon Fabric
Among synthetic fibers, it is relatively light and has high tensile and abrasion strength. It is smooth, wrinkle-resistant, and easy to clean as dirt comes off easily. It also has low moisture absorption, so it dries quickly even when wet. Furthermore, it blends well with other processing agents and is suitable for coatings such as water-repellent and moisture-permeable waterproof treatments.
【Domestically Washed Down】
All down used by NANGA is washed and processed by the down processing manufacturer "Kawada Feather." The processing factory is located in the Ise Plain in Mie Prefecture, where the water (super soft water) from the rich environment surrounded by mountains and the climate suitable for drying are excellent for the processing steps, resulting in high-quality down.
