This collaborative product, created in conjunction with NANGA, is based on the design of the hoodie riders vest developed by BACKLASH. It is a leather down vest that is extremely soft and light, offering a gentle, enveloping fit, pursuing the ultimate in comfort.
The 0.4mm thick kangaroo suede leather, which is made as thin as possible to maximize the smooth and lightweight properties of kangaroo leather, offers exceptional softness and smoothness in addition to its lightness. After being dyed black, it is washed to create an even more comfortable feel. This product uses BACKLASH's main material and is manufactured by NANGA. High-quality Polish white goose down, refined and filled through washing by "Kawada Feather," a down manufacturer with specialized equipment designed uniquely and excellent technology, based on abundant groundwater nurtured by a rich environment and a climate suitable for drying down, achieves excellent heat retention. To fully bring out the performance of the down, careful sewing is employed, utilizing a combination of know-how cultivated over many years of experience and designs based on data from scientific research in the lab. This piece offers extremely high heat retention despite its surprisingly light feel for leather.
■Down Characteristics
Highest quality down made only from Polish white goose down that has been washed domestically. It boasts high heat retention with 93-7% down and 860FP fill power.
■Nylon Fabric
Among synthetic fibers, it is relatively light and has high tensile strength and abrasion resistance. It is smooth, wrinkle-resistant, and easy to clean as dirt comes off easily. It also has low hygroscopicity, so it dries quickly even when wet. Additionally, it blends well with other processing agents and is suitable for coatings such as water repellent and moisture permeable waterproof treatments.
【Domestically Washed Down】
All down used by NANGA is washed and processed by the down processing manufacturer "Kawada Feather." The processing plant is located in the Ise Plain in Mie Prefecture, and the water (super soft water) sourced from the rich environment surrounded by mountains and the climate suitable for drying are excellent for the processing steps, producing high-quality down.
