"BACKLASH THE DENIM" is a new collection line dedicated to denim (jeans) that will be regularly developed. Focusing anew on "denim," which holds a universal position in the men's fashion scene, this line proposes denim products that never fade but rather become more attractive with the passage of time. The base material used is "HIROSHIMA selvedge denim," which is woven with different thicknesses for the warp and weft threads, incorporating stretch. It uses a 7-count black thread for the warp and an 8-count special white thread for the weft. By using a special white thread for the weft, even with a simple one-wash, the denim fabric takes on a very tasteful and profound appearance. For the light-colored process (light black), partial shaving is performed, and after shaping with a press, the entire surface is rubbed again. After that, an eco-bleach process is applied to remove some of the black, followed by a stone wash/overdye process. The fabric is then neutralized, and the black is gradually removed again with another eco-bleach process. The finished product is processed denim with fine, localized damage. The text on the pocket lining, "REACH FOR THE MOON EVEN IF WE CAN'T.," is a rock word that continues to inspire designer ISAMU KATAYAMA. The regular straight silhouette is designed to be moderately tight. It offers a refined silhouette with just the right amount of room, allowing for ease of movement. It features a front button fly, with all buttons being original brand tack buttons. A back pocket flasher with a laser engraving on special leather is attached.
