BACKLASH THE DENIM is a new collection line dedicated to denim (jeans) and developed as a staple. Focusing once again on "denim," which holds a universal position in the men's fashion scene, this line proposes denim products that do not fade and increase in charm with the passage of time.
The base material used is "HIROSHIMA Selvedge Denim" with stretch, woven with 7th count black yarn for the warp and 8th count special white yarn for the weft, with different thicknesses for the warp and weft yarns. By using a special white yarn for the weft, the denim fabric creates a profoundly flavorful expression even with just a simple one-wash. For the light-colored processing (light black), partial shaving is performed, and after shaping with a press, the entire surface is rubbed again. After that, eco-bleaching is applied to remove the black once, and then after going through stone washing and overdying processes, it is neutralized, and the black is gradually removed again with another eco-bleaching process. The finished product is processed denim with fine, partial damage. The text on the pocket lining, "REACH FOR THE MOON EVEN IF WE CAN'T. -月に手を伸ばせ、たとえ届かなくても。(Reach for the moon, even if we can't)," is a rock word that continues to inspire designer Isamu Katayama.
The skinny silhouette has a moderate amount of room from the waist to the knees and becomes tight from below the knees. The moderate rise and ample room in the hips create an original silhouette that, despite being skinny, offers excellent freedom of movement. It is equipped with slightly longer hem zippers. This design aims for a neat and cohesive tight skinny silhouette while enhancing the feel of more casual wear. It features a front button fly, and all buttons are original brand tack buttons. A special leather back pocket flasher with laser engraving is attached.
