"BACKLASH THE DENIM" is a new collection line dedicated to denim (jeans), featuring classic designs. We refocus on "denim," which holds a timeless position in the men's fashion scene, proposing denim products that never fade and become more appealing with the passage of time.
The base material used is "HIROSHIMA Selvedge Denim" blended with stretch, woven with different thicknesses of warp and weft threads, using #7 black yarn for the warp and #8 special white yarn for the weft. By using special white yarn for the weft, the denim fabric has a profoundly tasteful appearance even with just a simple one-wash. For dark black processing, partial shaving is performed, and after shaping with a press, the entire surface is rubbed again. After undergoing a process of three-dimensional processing, stone washing, and overdying, it becomes a processed denim finished with fine shades through spray processing. The text on the pocket lining, "REACH FOR THE MOON EVEN IF WE CAN'T," is a rock word that continues to inspire designer ISAMU KATAYAMA.
While the overall fit is tight and creates a sharp leg line, the "semi-sarrouel silhouette," popular with the brand, skillfully balances a rough feel with a tight silhouette by making the rise slightly deeper and allowing more room in the hips. By adjusting the waist position when worn, it's possible to change the look depending on the top. The front has a button fly, and all buttons are original brand tack buttons. A back pocket flasher with laser engraving on special leather is attached.
