“BACKLASH THE DENIM” is a new collection line that focuses on denim (jeans) and develops it as a standard. It re-focuses on “denim,” which has a universal position in the men's fashion scene, and proposes denim products that do not fade and become more attractive with the passage of time.

The base material used is "HIROSHIMA selvage denim" with a stretch blend, woven with different thicknesses of warp and weft threads, using #7 black warp thread and #8 special white weft thread. By using special white weft threads, the denim fabric has a very profound texture even with just a simple one-wash. For the dark black processing, partial shaving is performed, and after shaping with a press, the entire surface is rubbed again. After that, it undergoes 3D processing/stonewashing/overdyeing, and then fine shading is applied by spray processing to finish the processed denim. The words inscribed on the pocket lining, "REACH FOR THE MOON EVEN IF WE CAN'T. -月に手を伸ばせ、たとえ届かなくても。-", are rock words that continue to inspire designer ISAMU KATAYAMA to this day.

A new slightly flared silhouette has been designed, which beautifully forms a loose silhouette with a moderately thick denim fabric. The overall slightly rough and loose silhouette, considering the balance, is just right, and the slightly wider hem width makes it a very easy-to-wear flared pant that is distinctive yet understated. The moderate flare at the hem allows for a wide variety of shoes, not just boots. The silhouette is designed to be easy to move in and also to have a sophisticated impression. The "THE DENIM Collection" features a unified front button fly, original tack buttons engraved with the brand name, and a basic 5-pocket design.
