“BACKLASH THE DENIM” is a new collection line dedicated to denim (jeans) that will be developed as a staple. We re-focus on "denim," which holds a universal position in the men's fashion scene, and propose denim products that will not fade and will become more attractive with the passage of time.

We use "HIROSHIMA selvedge denim" with stretch, woven with No. 7 black yarn for the warp and No. 8 black yarn for the weft, with different thicknesses for the warp and weft, as the base material. For "one-wash black," by using black yarn for the weft as well, even when simply one-washed, the deep black color remains, resulting in a black denim that is sustainable even after long wear. The text printed on the pocket lining, "REACH FOR THE MOON EVEN IF WE CAN'T.," is a rock word that continues to inspire designer ISAMU KATAYAMA.

We have newly designed a slight flare silhouette that forms a beautiful loose silhouette with a moderately thick denim fabric. The overall slightly rough and loose silhouette, considering the balance, is just right, and the slightly wider hem width creates a characteristic yet subdued and extremely comfortable-to-wear flare pant. The moderate flare at the hem allows for a variety of shoe choices, not just boots. The silhouette is designed to be easy to move in and also to have a refined impression. The "THE DENIM Collection" features a unified front button fly, original tack buttons engraved with the brand name, and a basic 5-pocket design.
