The base material uses high-quality domestic steerhide tanned with white tannins. It undergoes a secondary tanning process with a blend of various vegetable tannins, including mimosa, and oils, resulting in a supple texture rarely found in standard steer leather. The garment was dyed after assembly using this exceptionally flexible base. Despite the shrinking process during dyeing, the leather remains remarkably soft. The combination of the deep black dye and the oil-rich leather creates a rich, intense black coloration. In addition to its soft and light feel, the leather has been skived to a thickness of 0.6mm, thinner than usual. This creates an extremely light fit that allows for effortless, casual wear with a relaxed silhouette.

We have crafted a half-sleeve open-collar shirt that maximizes the texture and characteristics of this leather, featuring a non-lined design for easy, year-round wear. The fit is exceptionally relaxed, offering a comfort level that belies its leather construction. Designed with a loose, relaxed fit, the fabric's natural drape ensures a flattering silhouette even when worn oversized. While it features an open-collar design, a button loop is included to allow for the collar to be fastened all the way to the top. The front closure utilizes Italian COBRAX® snap buttons, providing smooth operation while serving as a subtle accent that complements the texture of the leather shirt.
