Made from 1.1mm thick, long-napped, full-grain velour steer leather. Unlike suede, which has short, trimmed naps, the use of velour with long, raised naps creates a particularly rugged texture, even among split leathers. The 1.1mm thickness, slightly thicker than usual, gives a more substantial impression, but to eliminate the stiffness that this might cause, the leather is finished with a combination tanning process. By combining two tanning methods, "tannin tanning" and "chrome tanning," it achieves the unique aging of tannin while also providing the extremely soft and highly elastic fit characteristic of chrome. For pants, the properties of combination tanning, which offer higher resistance to scratches and water than ordinary leather products, are utilized even during hard wear.
The product is dyed after being made into a finished item using the above leather. The rough, uneven appearance with shadows created by product dyeing gives it a unique presence, making it a standout piece even among previous suede leather products. The initial stiff feeling quickly transforms into a moist and soft texture with very early wear. The long-napped velour suede leather makes this a leather series where the aging process, leading to an even more flavorful atmosphere, is quickly accelerated and highly anticipated.
Based on a tight straight silhouette that is overall tight-fitting and emphasizes sharp leg lines, this leather pant features a straight silhouette with appropriate room in the waist, rise, and hips. While these leather pants may feel initially tight due to the shrinkage from the product dyeing process, the use of combination tanned leather, as described above, ensures that with repeated wear, they will steadily transform into an even more comfortable fit. In areas where strong tension is applied, not only will the leather conform, but the shrinkage will also allow for stretching, creating a silhouette that is as close as possible to your own body shape.
