Using a base of high-quality steer leather, we have achieved the ultimate goal of achieving both lightness and durability, thinning the leather down to 0.6mm thick. The moderate thickness of the steer leather allows for a comfortable fit while achieving a well-balanced design that creates the impact of "leather pants." The resulting pants exude a luxurious feel with just the right amount of impact. We use high-quality, domestically produced, chrome-tanned, unpolished steer leather, a material often used in luxury furniture. While the leather is large, it has been inspected to a high standard, resulting in very few scratches despite its size. This premium leather stands out for its exceptionally smooth touch, comfortable flexibility, and beautiful appearance.
Taking advantage of the soft and light characteristics of the above leather, which allows it to be handled in a manner very similar to woven fabric, we have collaborated to develop random tuck pants based on the Yohji Yamamoto pattern. The irregular placement of the tucks creates countless three-dimensional effects, creating a casual look. The lining ensures that the tucks do not get caught on anything, making for a comfortable fit. Although these pants have a large silhouette, by making the most of the material's characteristics, they are much lighter than they appear, even with the amount of leather used, and can be worn with a relaxed feel.
