We use a 0.6mm thick chrome-tanned goat leather base. Compared to vegetable-tanned goat leather, chrome-tanned leather is inherently softer from the start, giving it a comfortable, relaxed feel. We deliberately chose chrome-tanned leather to achieve lightness when creating a long-length leather item. After the product is washed lightly, wrinkles are added by hand to create a textured, uneven surface, resulting in a unique collaboration-like appearance that is not too pristine.
Leveraging the soft and light properties of the leather described above, we developed a collaborative version of the REGULATION doctor's jacket from the Yohji Yamamoto collection. By using leather with a thickness of 0.6mm, despite the amount of leather used, it feels lighter than it looks and can be worn casually with a relaxed vibe. Meticulous attention to detail is evident in features such as deep slits and numerous pockets. The jacket has a slim silhouette, and even when worn with the front buttons open, the inner belt ensures it maintains its shape.
