Made from high-quality domestically produced chrome-tanned, undyed steer leather. Despite being a large piece of leather, it is remarkably free of scratches for its size, thanks to rigorous inspection standards. This premium leather boasts a very smooth touch, pleasant flexibility, and a beautiful, distinctive appearance. It features a deep, lustrous "black" coloration.
Leveraging the soft and light properties of the aforementioned leather, a hooded coat pattern from the Yohji Yamamoto collection has been developed in this collaboration. By reducing the leather thickness to 0.6mm, even with this amount of leather used, the jacket feels lighter than it looks, allowing for a relaxed and casual fit. Additionally, the garment is lightly washed after production and then hand-wrinkled to create a textured, less pristine look, giving it a distinctive collaborative feel.
This is a standard hooded coat from the Yohji Yamamoto Pour Homme collection. By using premium leather that is large yet exceptionally free of scratches, it is luxuriously and boldly crafted from a single vertical piece, without any horizontal seams or panels.
