We use 1.1mm thick European raw horsehide, full vegetable-tanned, from "MARYAM," a prestigious Italian tannery specializing in high-quality horse leather. After tanning and dyeing the leather in Italy by Maryam, we further apply a two-stage dye in Japan using cationic dyes without through-dyeing, creating a unique tea-core finish. Despite being dye-colored, it achieves a distinct black hue. From the outset, the product boasts an appropriate luster and oiliness, and since the 1.1mm thick horse leather is particularly softly tanned, it may initially feel stiff due to its thickness. However, over time, despite the powerful impression of thick leather, it transforms into a very comfortable fit that conforms well to the legs. With repeated wear, this piece offers a deep aging process that differs from garment-dyed pants, which you can thoroughly enjoy.
Based on a tight-straight silhouette that emphasizes sharp leg lines with an overall tight fit, this leather pant features a straight silhouette with appropriate allowance for the waist, rise, and hips. While the leather pants initially feel quite restrictive, the adoption of oil-rich leather, which has undergone the processes described above, gradually transforms them into a comfortably fitting garment with repeated wear. It features a front button fly and original tuck buttons. The hems are finished with raw edges, and we can cut them to your desired length upon request.
