Utilizing high-quality domestic chrome-tanned aniline steer leather. Despite the characteristic of large leather panels, this leather has very few imperfections for its size, meeting high inspection standards. It's a luxurious leather with a very smooth touch, pleasant flexibility, and a beautiful, prominent appearance. It's colored in a lustrous, highly saturated "black."
Leveraging the soft and light characteristics of the aforementioned leather, jackets with patterns developed in the Yohji Yamamoto collection are presented in this collaboration. By making the leather thickness 0.6mm, even with this quantity of leather, it is lighter than it looks, resulting in a leather coat that can be worn casually and with a relaxed feel. Furthermore, by lightly washing the product afterward to create wrinkles, a textured effect is achieved, giving it a less pristine and more collaborative look.
A long double-lapel jacket with a design/pattern developed in the Yohji Yamamoto collection was produced by Backlash (※This current piece does not have a double lapel). Although it's a long leather jacket, it can be worn with a fit comparable to woven fabric, and the leather was selected to match the fluid pattern structure of the clothing. The distinctive peak lapel is a key design feature.
