Introducing "BACKLASH THE DENIM," a new collection line dedicated to denim (jeans) and consistently offering classic styles. This line re-focuses on "denim," which holds a universal position in men's fashion, proposing denim products that never fade and become more appealing with time.
The base material is "HIROSHIMA selvedge denim," a stretch blend woven with a 7-count indigo core-dyed yarn for the warp and an 8-count unbleached yarn for the weft, with different warp and weft thicknesses. By using unbleached yarn for the weft, even with a simple one-wash, the atmosphere achieves a profoundly tasteful appearance. For the light-colored processing (light indigo), which involves the most steps, the entire garment is scuffed, then eco-bleached to remove indigo. After stone washing and overdyeing, it is neutralized, and indigo is gradually removed through eco-bleaching. The final product is a processed colored denim created through numerous processes, including partial 3D processing, damage, and dust processing. The text printed on the pocket lining, "REACH FOR THE MOON EVEN IF WE CANT. -月に手を伸ばせ、たとえ届かなくても。-," is a rock-inspired phrase that continues to inspire designer Isamu Katayama.
The "semi-sarouel silhouette," popular with the brand, features a tight fit and sharp leg line, but with a slightly deeper rise and more room in the hips, skillfully balancing a relaxed feel with a tight silhouette. By adjusting the waist position when worn, you can vary the look to match different tops. It features a front button fly, with all buttons being original brand tack buttons. A back pocket flasher with a laser engraving on GUIDI leather is attached.
