BACKLASH THE DENIM is a new collection line dedicated to denim (jeans) and developed as a staple. Focusing on "denim," which has a universal position in the men's fashion scene, the brand proposes denim products that do not fade and become more attractive with the passage of time.

The base material is "HIROSHIMA selvedge denim" with stretch, woven with 7-count indigo core-white yarn for the warp and 8-count unbleached yarn for the weft, with different thicknesses for the warp and weft. By using unbleached yarn for the weft, even with a simple one-wash, the atmosphere is very tasteful. For the light-colored processing (light indigo), which undergoes the most processes, the fabric is first abraded overall, then eco-bleached to remove the indigo. After stone washing/overdyeing, it is neutralized, and the indigo is gradually removed through eco-bleaching. The final product is a processed denim with a rich color, created through numerous processes including partial 3D processing, damage, and dust processing. The text on the slacks, "REACH FOR THE MOON EVEN IF WE CAN'T.," is a rock-inspired phrase that continues to inspire designer ISAMU KATAYAMA.
