BACKLASH THE DENIM is a new collection line dedicated to denim (jeans) and offered as a staple. Focusing once again on "denim," which holds a universal position in the men's fashion scene, this collection proposes denim products that do not fade and increase in appeal over time.
The base material is "HIROSHIMA selvage denim" with added stretch, woven with 7-count indigo half-bleached yarn for the warp and 8-count unbleached yarn for the weft, with different thicknesses for the warp and weft. By using unbleached yarn for the weft, the fabric develops a very rich and appealing texture even after a simple one-wash. The text on the pocket lining, "REACH FOR THE MOON EVEN IF WE CAN'T.," is a rock-and-roll phrase that continues to inspire designer Isamu Katayama.
The regular straight silhouette is designed to be moderately tight. It is a regular straight silhouette that has a refined look while still allowing for ease of movement, with a moderate amount of room within its tightness. It features a front button fly, with all buttons being original brand tack buttons. A back pocket flasher with laser engraving on GUIDI leather is attached.
