Made from high-quality domestically produced chrome-tanned full-grain steer leather, this material has the characteristic of being a large piece of leather, yet it has very few imperfections for its size, meeting high inspection standards. It is a luxurious leather with a remarkably smooth touch, pleasant flexibility, and beautiful appearance. The coloring is a deep, lustrous "black."
Utilizing the characteristics of this soft and lightweight leather, a jacket with a pattern seen in the Yohji Yamamoto collection has been developed in this collaboration. By making the leather thickness 0.6mm, even with this amount of leather, it feels lighter than it looks, making it a leather jacket that can be worn casually with a relaxed feel. Furthermore, by lightly washing it after production to create wrinkles, a textured, less pristine, collaborative look is achieved.
A jacket with a design/pattern from the Yohji Yamamoto collection has been produced by Backlash. Although it is a leather jacket, it can be worn with a fit comparable to woven fabric, and the selected leather matches the flowing pattern structure of the garment. It features a distinctive design with pockets placed throughout.
