We use high-quality domestic chrome-tanned, undyed steer leather. While it possesses the characteristic of being large-scale leather, it is also leather with very few imperfections for the size of the sheets, which are inspected to high standards. It is a luxurious leather with a very smooth touch, comfortable flexibility, and a beautiful appearance. The coloring is a lustrous, highly concentrated "black."
Leveraging the characteristics of the soft and light leather mentioned above, we are offering a collaborative long jacket based on patterns used in the Yohji Yamamoto collection. Normally, when making a jacket of this size out of leather, large parts like the body and sleeves would inevitably have seams. However, a distinctive feature of this jacket is that there are no seams, thanks to the use of large-scale leather. Furthermore, by making the leather thickness 0.6mm, despite the amount of leather used, it is lighter than it looks, making it a leather long jacket that can be worn casually with a relaxed feel. In addition, by lightly washing the product afterward to create wrinkles, we've added a textured feel, resulting in an expression that isn't too pristine and is characteristic of a collaboration.
The jacket, based on designs/patterns from the Yohji Yamamoto collection, is produced by Backlash. Although it is a leather jacket, it can be worn with a fit equivalent to woven fabric. The leather selection matches the fluid garment pattern structure, such as the deeply cut side slit design. The layered-style pockets are detachable with buttons.
