This 0.8mm thick calf leather jacket is made entirely in Japan by one of Japan's leading tanneries. Its resilient, supple texture conforms easily to the body and feels relatively soft, almost clinging to the skin. Calf leather's pliable texture is offset by its distinctive wrinkle formation, resulting in large, undulating, three-dimensional wrinkles. This product utilizes a production technique that involves shrinking the leather through a garment dyeing process, but without dyeing, shrinking it through washing alone. The base leather is dyed gray while still in its bare state, then further dyed with white pigment. The white pigment is then partially removed during the washing process, creating an uneven appearance that blends gray and white. Because the dust-like texture is inherently present in the product, this white leather jacket can be worn without worrying about stains or discoloration due to wear. While retaining the iconic presence of the brand, which has ridges created by tumbling the product and causing it to shrink, we specialize in finishing products with a highly stable size, as there are no color irregularities (bumps) and the shrinkage rate is easy to control.
