Made from high-quality domestically produced chrome-tanned steer leather. Despite being 1.1mm thick cowhide, it features a moderate firmness and softness. This full-grain leather has a soft, chewy texture on the grain side, and has been finished with lacquer to achieve a glossy surface, water resistance, and strong abrasion resistance, resulting in a vibrant and lustrous color.
This is a special model created in a Backlash collaboration, reproducing the "6.1 THE MAN" blouson, a memorable piece in Yohji Yamamoto's long history. The material selection was based on the premise of reproducing the leather texture and color of the original model. While the original model had a quilted lining, this model has a rayon lining, making it wearable all year round. The zippers used are the original ones used by Backlash.
