This premium denim fabric is exclusively used in the high-end "BACKLASH The Line" line. This premium material is carefully selected for its individuality, with each garment handcrafted by artisans. This 12oz white-edge selvedge denim, with a 7.2 warp and 10 weft, has a thicker weft than traditional denim, making it more prone to unevenness and blemishes. The base finish is a combination of two stonewashing techniques. The first stonewashing process emphasizes the dimples created by the fabric shrinking after soaking in water. Instead of stones, the process uses fine sand, which rubs the fabric against the wall of a tumble washer. The second stonewashing process is performed using relatively small stones, approximately 2cm in size, compared to the stones typically used. This process evens out the darker areas in the dimples created in the first stonewashing and also lightens the overall color. This vintage-processed denim is crafted with a unique contrast between the dark and light areas remaining in the recesses, a key feature of vintage-processed denim. This creates a distinctive look that sets it apart from other processed denim. The base finish is then further processed by hand, using bleach to lighten the overall color, giving it a well-worn appearance. This process further accentuates the whiteness of areas such as the shoulders, back, and elbows, which tend to fade with wear and tear over time, particularly with movement. A factory-made anthropomorphic dummy modeled after a human arm is used to create realistic, three-dimensional wrinkles on the arms. The shirt features a natural, rounded, and soft texture, with contrasting shades between the light and dark areas for a realistic look. Each and every shirt undergoes numerous processes, carefully handcrafted by artisans at Japan's leading factories, resulting in a truly special denim shirt.
Based on a denim shirt that embodies the luxury we strive for, we have attached python leather to various parts as a leather brand. After processing, dismantling and attaching the leather is the most labor-intensive process. As we are using python leather this time, we have instructed the manufacturer to roughly cut and prepare the fabric after giving instructions to minimize the discrepancy in the size of the scales on the left and right cuffs. Since there is inevitably some variation and individual differences in the processing of denim, we carefully check the actual item before cutting, attaching and finishing, resulting in a truly one-of-a-kind finished product.
This jacket is crafted from a moderately thick denim that could also be called a denim shirt jacket, and its simple design makes it easy to wear and a favorite for many years to come. The basic design is constructed solidly using the brand's original pattern. All parts, such as the buttons and the rivet under the back neck, are made of 925 silver. Like leather, this one-of-a-kind piece combines the classic denim material with processing techniques to create a unique look, and the luxurious feel of leather and silver.
