Made from 0.8mm thick goat leather. After dyeing the leather blue in its raw state, the suede side is processed with resin to flatten the nap, creating a leather with a smooth, grain-like finish (nappalan processing), resulting in a double-faced leather. Then, black pigment is applied only to the grain side, creating a leather with different colors on each side. The reversible design allows for two completely different looks, making it two garments in one. To accommodate the reversible design, raw edges and fur seams (a type of flat-felled seam) are used. The raw edges are deliberately left unfinished so that when worn with the black side out, the blue color peeks through as an accent.
This is a new pattern for a collared single rider's jacket, designed specifically for the collaboration based on a Backlash pattern. The "Yohji Yamamoto RIDERS" logo is embossed in leather on the pocket of the blue side.
