The base material used is domestic calf leather from Hokkaido, tanned with tannins. It is rich in aging potential, gaining luster and depth with each wear, conforming to the wearer's body and developing a unique patina over time. By tanning with a well-balanced blend of multiple natural tannins, the leather achieves excellent color development during dyeing and becomes supple. The garment has been product-dyed using a unique method, shrinking it by three sizes (12cm in the bust), which creates a distinctive grain and waviness in the zippers. This results in shading on the leather jacket, giving it an unparalleled atmospheric quality.
This is a classic double rider's jacket from the Yohji Yamamoto collaboration. It utilizes Yohji Yamamoto's stress-free pattern. Gussets have been added to the sides. This rider's silhouette differs from the standard Backlash collection rider's, creating a unique atmosphere.
