The base material is 0.9mm thick chrome-tanned goat leather. As it is chrome-tanned, it is softer than tannin-tanned goat leather from the start, giving it a rough and comfortable feel. This series intentionally uses chrome-tanned leather because we aim for a heavily processed look from the beginning. After product dyeing, white pigment is sprayed on, and then the garment is tumbled to create an uneven, worn-out look by removing some of the white pigment. This unique processing method results in a striking piece. Each part, such as zippers and buckles, is hand-painted white, and as the paint peels off, it creates an aged effect.
This is a double rider's jacket, a standard item in our Yohji Yamamoto collaboration. It uses Yohji Yamamoto's stress-free pattern. Gussets have been added to the sides. This rider's silhouette, different from BACKLASH's collection riders, creates a unique atmosphere.
